How is InfoSnorkel better than a portal web page?

InfoSnorkel does not limit the content in your documents.  Portals limit you to the custom "channels" of their affiliates.

InfoSnorkel can include all of the content from your  portal page, plus your own content.

InfoSnorkel will not overwhelm you with advertising.

How is InfoSnorkel better than a news aggregator?

InfoSnorkel includes a complete news aggregation system using variations of Rich Site Summary (RSS), plus the ability to include information that does not have an RSS feed.

Dedicated news aggregators are limited to a single technology.

How is InfoSnorkel better than bookmarks?

How many times have you bookmarked an interesting site and then never had the time to return to it?

Are there sites that contain information that is critical to your job that you never seem to have the time to visit?

Do you forget to visit sites with critical information?

InfoSnorkel does the work for you and brings just the information you want to a single web page.  No more surfing to multiple sites to stay up-to-date on the most recent information.

Why do I get a 62083 error when I try to access the Internet?

If you use a proxy...

InfoSnorkel uses the same proxy settings that Internet Explorer uses to access the internet. Make sure that Internet Explorer has the correct proxy settings set.

All instances...

If Internet Explorer has the correct settings and is able to connect to the internet correctly but you still get the 62083 error you may be getting a bogus message caused by the way Windows checks to see if a connection exists. This often happens if you are on a LAN. Not to worry, just select Settings in the Tools menu and check the "Computer is always connected" check box.
